Petrol bomb hurled at Meghalaya Deputy CM’s residence

Shillong, April 26 (UNI) A petrol bomb was hurled by unidentified miscreants at the private residence of Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Urban Affairs, Sniawbhalang Dhar in the Nongmensong locality of the city on Friday, in the wake of which security measures were strengthened.
No one was hurt in the incident, nor was there any report of property damage.
Rituraj Ravi, the district police chief of East Khasi Hills said that the police have provided security at the residences of all VIPs and vital installations following the second such incident this week.
