New Delhi, Feb 12 (UNI) Thanks to the brilliant comeback by Sunny Deol, edge-of-the-seat action sequences and powerful dialogues, 'Ghayal Once Again' has evoked a good response at box office, earning Rs 30 crore in its opening week, trade sources said today. After earning Rs 23.25 crore in its opening weekend, 'Ghayal Once Again' remained steady at the box office during the weekdays, garnering Rs 7.5 crore from Monday to Thursday. The film thus has collections of Rs 30 crore in its opening week. The film, which released at around 2500 to 2600 cinema screens across the country, performed quite well in North India, especially the Delhi UP and the Punjab cinematic circuit where Sunny and his father and yesteryear's megastar Dharmendra (the producer) have a huge fan following. Trade sources said while 'Ghayal Once Again' , which also marks directorial debut for Sunny Deol, drew an excellent response from single screen theatres, it elicited an average response from the multiplexes. Audiences have lapped up the film for its powerful dialogues and the edge of the seat thrills.
