‘Vande Mataram’ continues to inspire National spirit among youth

Patna, Nov 7 (UNI) union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said that the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ continues to be a powerful symbol of unity, patriotism, and inspiration for the youth, even after 150 years of its creation.
Addressing the “Vande Mataram 150 Years Celebration” organised at the BJP state headquarters in Patna, Shah said the immortal song by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay has kept the flame of nationalism alive in the hearts of Indians for generations.
“Today marks a special day in India’s history of national awakening. It was on this day, 150 years ago, that Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay made Vande Mataram public. Through this song, he gave the nation a sacred mantra that became the guiding force and the rallying cry of India’s freedom movement,” Shah said.
