Chandigarh, Mar 6 (UNI) Punjab on Saturday reported 1179 new Coronavirus cases and 12 more fatalities, according to an official medical bulletin here.
With this, according to the bulletin, the inflection tally rose to 1,87,348 while the 12 deaths pushed the toll to 5,910 in the state. The number of active cases also increased from 6,661 to 7,164 today.
SBS Nagar reported the highest number of new cases 156, followed by Jalandhar 154 and Ludhiana 146 fresh cases.
