12 injured as car collides with crowd in Poland

Warsaw, Mar 1 (UNI) A car crashed into a crowd of people in Szczecin, Poland, on Friday afternoon, resulting in at least 12 serious injuries, the Polish news agency PAP reported.
A speeding car hit people at a pedestrian crossing at Rodla Square in the northwestern Polish city, PAP reported, citing Junior Brigadier Tomasz Kubiak from the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Szczecin.
The driver fled the scene of the incident but was stopped and detained by the police.

Beijing, Apr 22 (UNI) An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Java, Indonesia at 0048 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 97.8 km, was initially determined to be at 7.94 degrees south latitude and 109.32 degrees east longitude.
