12-yr girl charred alive in fire accident in AP

Nellore, June 20 (UNI) In a major fire accident, a 12-year-old girl was charred alive and 14 houses gutted at Barma Gunta area near Railway station here on Thursday in Andhra Pradesh.
Police said that flames erupted in a house and spread to neighboring houses within minutes. The 12-year-old deceased Nagalakshmi was a differently-abled girl. Since she could not escape from the flames she charred live. As many as 14 houses were completely destroyed in the fire mishap, officials said.
District Collector M Harinarayana visited the place and assured the victims of all help. Nellore MLA and Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana expressed shock over the accident.
