398 pilgrims leave for Amarnath, 733 for Budha Amarnath from Jammu

Jammu, Aug 9 (UNI) As many as 398 pilgrims left for Shri Amarnath Cave Shrine in South Kashmir on Friday and 733 for Budha Amarnath in Poonch district from Yatri Niwas base camp here.
Official sources said that 398 pilgrims left for Shri Amarnath Cave Shrine in a fleet of 14 buses for the Baltal route.
However, the pilgrims for the Baba Budha Amarnath Yatra left in 17 vehicles under tight security arrangements.
The pilgrimage to Shri Amarnath Cave has crossed a record five lakh figure this year.
The pilgrimages will conclude on August 19, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan (Sharavan Purnima).
