5 killed as tour bus drops off cliff in Indonesia

Jakarta, Nov 29 (UNI) A tour bus rolled off a 30-meter cliff in the Indonesian province of North Sumatra, leaving at least five people dead and 12 others wounded on Monday evening, local police said on Tuesday.
The accident took place in Kuta Saga village in the district of Pakpak Bharat at around 10:15 p.m. local time and brake failure was believed to be the cause, the district's traffic police chief Mujiono told local media.
All victims, he said, have been evacuated by emergency response teams and transferred to nearby hospitals.

Possession of adulterated drugs to be punished with life imprisonment in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Feb 6 (UNI) The Bangladesh cabinet on Monday gave the final approval to the draft Medicines Act 2022 which includes the provision of life imprisonment for possession of adulterated drugs.The law cleared by the cabinet also contains a provision of a 10-year sentence for the unlicensed production of drugs.
