500 meritorious girl students provided bicycles in RK Puram constituency

New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) A total of 500 meritorious girl students of the R K Puram assembly constituency, who cleared Class 10 and 12th exams have been provided bicycles.
The distribution took place in the RK Puram area on Saturday, where addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that such efforts are extremely important for promoting girls’ education and encouraging them to move ahead in life.
She praised the organizers for their efforts, calling it an initiative which is inspiring towards women’s empowerment. According to Gupta, the bicycle is not merely a means of transport, but a tool that will give new momentum to the confidence, independence and dreams of these students.

Delhi: action continues on encroachments, illegal constructions
