Jammu, Nov 29 (UNI) A Youth Convention by 'Kaushal Sangam' (District Skill Development and Employment Cell) an initiative of District Administration, Samba was organized on Tuesday wherein professionals from the Industry, Trade and budding entrepreneurs interacted with about 500 youth of Samba district.
The Youth Convention was organized to provide direct interface between job seekers and job providers, with government in the role of facilitator. Youth also got opportunity to hear the story of successful entrepreneurs.
It provided platform to know about the aspirations of the youth and to make them aware about various Self employment and Skill Development Schemes of the Government.
