70th birthday of Mata Amritanandamayi celebrated in Kerala

Kollam (Kerala), Oct 3 (UNI) Amritapuri, the international headquarters of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math, resounded with joy and spiritual fervour as devotees and dignitaries from around the world came together to celebrate the 70th birthday of the revered spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi Devi.
Lakhs of people attended the two-day celebrations that took place at the Amrita University Campus on Monday and Tuesday.
In her 70th birthday message, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) focused on the importance of love, selflessness and unity. Emphasizing the need for good actions, living in harmony, and respect for nature, Amma encouraged individuals to recognise their inner potential, control their thoughts and actions, and cultivate patience.
