A Nepali youth arrested under Wildlife Protection Act near Dharamshala

Dharamshala, Aug 7 (UNI) Kàngra police arrested a Nepali youth ahead of gate no. 5 of the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Cricket Stadium here under the Wildlife Protection Act after police recovered the nails of a leopard and Gidharsingya from his possession, police said here on Wednesday.
Kàngra District Superintendent of Police Shailini Agnihotri told UNI today that under Police Station Dharamshala, police recovered 4 nails of Leopard and 8 Gidharsingya from a person of Nepali origin identified as Jung Bahadur, 36, son of Shri Dali Bahadur, resident of Vairikar Post Office Dapa Najad Narkot Tehsil and District Jumla Nepal, in a rain shelter a little ahead of Gate No. 05 HPCA Cricket Stadium, towards the Dari.
SSP said that in relation to this, a case has been registered at the police station in Dharamshala under Section 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act. She said that the investigation was in progress.
