AAP accuses Centre of avoiding parliamentary discussion on key issues

New Delhi, DEC 15 (UNI): Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Monday criticized the Centre for allegedly not allowing parliamentary discussion on pressing national issues, including severe air pollution in the national capital.
Speaking to the media, Singh stated that Delhi has "turned into a gas chamber" with the Air Quality Index crossing 1000, yet the government is unwilling to debate the pollution crisis in Parliament. He cited data claiming that nearly two million people die annually in India due to pollution-related causes.
The AAP leader expanded his critique to include other national concerns. He alleged that the government is also avoiding discussions on the depreciation of the Indian rupee, incidents of Chinese territorial intrusion, tariffs imposed by the United States, and shortages of fertilizers for farmers.
