AAP welcomes green crackers but questions government's preparedness for pollution season

New Delhi, Oct 15 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has stated its approval of the Supreme Court's decision to allow green crackers in Delhi for Diwali but has raised concerns about the enforcement of the order and the government's overall readiness for the winter pollution season.
Senior AAP leader Gopal Rai, while welcoming the court's move, pointed to past failures in implementation.
He recalled that in 2018, similar permission for green crackers was granted, but a lack of effective enforcement led the National Green Tribunal to impose a complete ban later.
