Action against sports associations violating Lodha recommendations: HP Minister

Shimla, Feb 26 (UNI) Action would be taken against sports associations that are being run by people not affiliated with any sports and in violation of the Lodha panel recommendations, Himachal Pradesh Sports Minister Yadvinder Goma told the state Assembly on Monday.
Replying to a query raised by Kewal Singh Pathania, Goma asked the members to give him the list of sports associations being run by people not in compliance with the Lodha Commission recommendations.
Goma said registration of sports bodies is being done by the cooperative department and he did not have information about such self-styled sports organizations which are being run by people not related to sports. ''I could take action against such bodies if a member informed about such bodies to him'' .
