Adani Eye hospital project in Saran a boon for poor: Mangal Pandey

Patna, May 17 (UNI) Former Bihar Health Minister and senior BJP leader Mangal Pandey on Sunday described the new expansion project of Akhanda Jyoti Eye Hospital in Saran district, as a major milestone in the state’s healthcare sector, stating that it would prove to be a boon for the poor and underprivileged.
The foundation stone for the world-class eye care project at Mastichak village in Saran, was performed by Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, along with Priti Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation. The ceremony was conducted with Vedic rituals.
Pandey noted that the project aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Healthy India, Strong India” and will serve as a stepping stone toward strengthening medical infrastructure in the state. He credited the Centre’s policies and improved ease of doing business environment for attracting major industrial groups like Adani to invest in essential sectors such as healthcare in Bihar.
