AP: Congress leaders raise concern over disappearance of man, demand investigation

Vijayawada, June 7 (UNI) Congress leaders Sunday raised concerns over the alleged disappearance of a young man and demanded a thorough investigation by the police to trace him.
Addressing a press conference in the Congress office here, party leaders, including APCC Vice-President Kolanukonda Shivaji, raised serious concerns over the alleged disappearance of a young man, Gade Sai Krishna, under the jurisdiction of the Krishna Lanka Police Station. The leaders stated that when Sai Krishna's mother approached the police station seeking information about her son, she was reportedly told that her son had died.
They demanded that the police immediately clarify the facts and disclose the truth to the public. They pointed out that in a lawful democracy, whenever a person is taken into custody, it is the fundamental responsibility of the authorities to inform the family members and ensure transparency regarding the individual's whereabouts. The complete lack of information regarding Sai Krishna's status has caused immense anxiety and distress to his family.
