AP: Police seize 10 litres of illicit liquor, arrest one person

Eluru, Spt 7 (UNI) The police conducted a raid at Sitanagaram village of Kukkunur Mandal today and seized 10 litres of country-made liquor, destroyed 600 litres of jaggery wash and arrested one person.

Polavaram DSP M Venkateswara Rao told the media here that following a tip-off, a police team led by Kukkunur SI Raja Reddy conducted a raid on the bank of Kinnerasani stream, where country-made liquor was being distilled.

AP: Dalmia Bharat lays stone for second manufacturing unit

Kadapa, July 15 (UNI) The foundation stone for the second manufacturing unit of Dalmia Bharat Limited (DBL), one of India's leading cement manufacturing companies, was laid in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.
The foundation laying ceremony was graced by Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh, along with Puneet Dalmia, MD & CEO, Dalmia Bharat Limited, senior government officials and the company's key executives.

PM Modi to inaugurate redeveloped Hi-Tech City Railway Station on July 17

UoH launches two online certificate courses, expands digital learning initiatives

Hyderabad, July 15 (UNI) The Centre for Digital Learning, Training & Resources (CDLTR) at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) on Wednesday launched two online certificate courses—"Samsadhani Praveshikka: Learning Sanskrit Using Computational Tools" and "Advanced Malariology: Biology of Parasitism and Drug Resistance."
The courses were formally launched by Vice-Chancellor Prof J Anuradha, who also inaugurated an additional video recording studio at the CDLTR to strengthen the university's digital education infrastructure.
