AP purchased Rs 4,609 Cr. worth paddy from farmers so far: Minister

Vijayawada, Dec 11 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government has so far purchased Rs 4,609.98 crore worth paddy produce from the farmers.

In a release here on Thursday, Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar said that AP is going to create a record in paddy purchasing in the country by procuring a substantial quantity of paddy produce during the kharif season. He announced that the AP government had purchased 1,45,607 Metric Tonnes of paddy produce from the farmers on December 10 itself.
