Army training aircraft crashes in Prayagraj school ground, 3 rescued

Prayagraj, Jan 21 (UNI) An army training aircraft crashed in school campus ground in Prayagraj, around 12:00 PM on Wednesday. The aircraft suddenly swerved in the air and landed in a schoolyard in the middle of the city.
Eyewitnesses said locals reported that army personnel were aboard, though all but three were rescued safely. It's currently unclear how many people were on board. The accident occurred behind KP College on Wednesday afternoon. Locals informed the police and administration about the incident, following which a fire brigade and rescue team rushed to the scene.
Administrative teams arrived at the scene and are assessing the situation. An eyewitness said, "We were on the school campus when we heard a sound like a rocket. Hearing the sound, we ran to the spot and saw that some people were trapped in the swamp. We jumped into the pond and rescued three people."
