Arunachal Dy CM directs depts to expedite implementation of 50 model schools

Itanagar, June 4 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Sunday convened a high-level review meeting at his official residence here to discuss the effective implementation of 50 Golden Jubilee Model Schools across the State. Education Minister Taba Tedir was also present at the meeting.
The government has allocated a substantial amount of Rs 500 crore for this ambitious initiative.
The decision to establish these Golden Jubilee Model Schools was taken by the State Cabinet during its sitting at Ziro in Lower Subansiri district on January 20 last year that marked the launch of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Arunachal Pradesh.
