Arunachal Govt raises upper age limit of APPSC exams candidates

Itanagar, Feb 5 (UNI) The Arunachal Pradesh Government has decided to increase the upper age limit of general category candidates for the State civil services examinations conducted by Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to 35 years and for Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) candidates to 40 years.
This all-important decision was taken in the 3rd Cabinet meeting of the year chaired by Chief Minister Pema Khandu here on Saturday.
“The State Cabinet that met here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pema Khandu has approved amendments in Rule 3 of Arunachal Civil Services and Civil Posts (Upper Age Limit for Direct Recruitment) Rules. Henceforth, the upper age limit for state civil service examination will be 35 years in general and 40 years for APST candidates,” a press note from the CMO said.
