Arunachal joins 150 years of Vande Mataram celebrations

Itanagar, Nov 7 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh on Friday joined the nationwide celebrations commemorating 150 years of Vande Mataram, honouring Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay’s immortal creation.
Participating in the celebration at his hometown Tawang, Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed pride in being part of the historic milestone, saying, “Vande Mataram is not merely a song, but a sacred hymn that stirred the hearts of countless freedom fighters. It is a timeless call of devotion to our Motherland and a soulful prayer that continues to awaken love for Bharat in every generation.”
Khandu recalled that Vande Mataram, composed by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in 1875, became the soul-stirring anthem of India’s freedom movement, inspiring patriotism and unity across the nation.

Tripura HC directs CJM to preserve footage of East Agartala Police station for not registering FIR
