Arunachal: NPP extends support to BJP govt

Itanagar, June 20 (UNI) As decided earlier, the Conrad Sangma-led National People’s Party (NPP) in Arunachal Pradesh has ‘finally’ extended its support to the Pema Khandu-led BJP government in Arunachal Pradesh.
The NPP, a constituent of the BJP-led North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA), has five MLAs in the 60-member Assembly in Arunachal Pradesh.
The newly-elected NPP MLAs, led by party’s state president Thangwang Wangham, called on Chief Minister Pema Khandu here on Thursday and handed over their letter of support to the BJP leader.
