Assam: 3 ONGC employees abducted by unidentified armed men

Sivsagar, Apr 21 (UNI) Three Oil and Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) employees, comprising two Junior Production Assistants and a Junior Engineer (P), were abducted at gunpoint by unknown armed men from a rig site of the plant in Lakwa 30 kms from here last night.
The abducted employees, namely MM Gogoi, JTA, Ritul Saikia, JTA and Alokesh Saikia, JEA, were taken by the armed gang in an operational vehicle belonging to ONGC which was later found abandoned in Nimonagarh jungles near the Assam Nagaland border.
FIR has been lodged by the ONGC at Lakwa PS.
