At least 288 killed & 800 injured in Friday's train accident; PM says strong action to be taken against guilty

Balasore, June 3 (UNI) In a ghastly train accident at Bahanaga in Odisha's Balasore on Friday,
at least 288 people were killed and more than 800 injured, 56 of them critically, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday stated none will be spared and strong action will be taken against
those found guilty.

First private medical college of Meghalaya will start to intake students

Shillong, Oct 3 (UNI) Meghalaya’s first private medical college, the PA Sangma International Medical College, will start to intake students from the current academic session.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has granted approval to the USTM for the intake of 150 students in an academic year.
However, the National Medical Commission (NMC), the regulatory body for medical education in India, has yet to grant permission to the PA Sangma International Medical College.
