Audio-visual program 'Don Pati-Ek Bandh' based on the journey of the Madgulkar brothers

Pune, Oct 15 (UNI) A special audio-visual programme titled "Don Pati – Ek Bandh," based on the life and literary journey of the Madgulkar brothers, G. D. Madgulkar and Venkatesh Madgulkar, will be held on October 17 at the Balshikshan Auditorium here, an organising official said today.
Sameer Belvalkar of Belvalkar Sanskrutik Manch said, “We are organising this programme to pay tribute to the Madgulkar brothers, who were renowned figures in Marathi literature. We aim to introduce their work to the new generation.”
During the event, a special issue of the magazine 'Aisi Aakshare' focusing on the Madgulkar brothers' literary contributions will also be released.
Guru Thakur, a well-known lyricist, and Dr. Aruna Dhere, a senior literary figure and former president of the Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, will be the chief guests.
The program has been written by Dr. Vandana Bokil Kulkarni and will be hosted by renowned anchor Rajesh Damle.
A separate screen arrangement has been made at the venue for senior citizens.
