Babri posters: FIR against 30 people in Bihar town

Motihari (Bihar) , Dec 6 (UNI) In a swift action against anti-social elements, police on Saturday lodged an FIR listing 30 people who were found involved in pasting controversial posters at Kuawa village in Chakia block of East Champaran district to mark the day of demolition of Babri mosque in Ayodhya more than three decades back.
Police said some individuals had pasted controversial posters at Kuawa village on Friday night, which were removed soon after the matter came to notice. An FIR had been lodged against five named accused and more than two dozen others in this connection, police added.
"A resident under the Sahebganj police station area in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar was detained and interrogated," police said, adding lawful action would be taken against those involved in the incident.
