Backward class organisations should engage actively at the grassroots: Punjab official

Chandigarh, July 23 (UNI) Punjab government on Tuesday appealed to organisations associated with the backward classes to engage actively at the grassroot level for the betterment of society.
Making the appeal, Punjab Backward Classes Land Development and Finance Corporation (BACKFINCO) Chairman Sandeep Sainihe said the state government was diligently working towards the welfare ofall sections of population.
Saini said detailed information about the various schemes of the Punjab government available for the upliftment of the backward classes would be disseminated to the people.
