Baljinder to ‘look after’ DSO Jammu work: JKSC

Jammu, Oct 3 (UNI) Days after Divisional Sports Officer (DSO), Jammu Ashok Singh attained superannuation, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council on Tuesday ordered Baljinder Pal Singh, Manager, Sports Stadium Kathua to look after Jammu till suitable arrangement is put in place as per the recruitment rules.
The order issued by the Secretary J&K Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul, read that consequent upon the superannuation of Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, Jammu on September 30, Baljinder Pal Singh, Manager, Sports Stadium Kathua shall look after the work of Divisional Sports Officer (Jammu), J&K Sports Council till suitable arrangement is put in place as per the recruitment rules.
“The arrangement shall not be treated as a matter of right for promotion,” read the order.
