Bandaru Dattatreya felicitates RSS gurus who shaped his journey

Hyderabad, Aug 10 (UNI) Former Governor and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya on Sunday honoured his guru-level mentors in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at a special gathering at his residence in Ramnagar, Hyderabad.
Among those felicitated were Dr Manohar Shinde, who inducted Dattatreya into the RSS in 1984, trained him, and nurtured his sense of nationalism and patriotism. Dr Shinde, currently serving as the Sanghachalak for RSS programmes in the United States and settled in California, was presented with a shawl in recognition of his guidance.
Also honoured were Dr. Beeravolu Surender Reddy, who has been associated with Dattatreya since 1965 and mentored him in skills, human relations, and personality development; former National Joint General Secretary of the RSS Vadla Bhagaiah; and Sri Ramachandraiah, with whom Dattatreya worked as a Pracharak and who now heads the Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram.
