Bangladesh Chief Election Commissioner says national polls to be held in first half of Feb 2026

Dhaka, Aug 9 (UNI) Bangladesh’s Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin has said that the country’s national polls will be held in the first half of February next year, though he did not specify a date.

Speaking to local media at the Rangpur Divisional Commissioner's Office, the CEC said that the Election Commission is making every effort to organise the national elections in a free, fair, and transparent manner, reports Business Standard BD.
