Bangladesh Home Minister says Awami League lawmaker's murder in Kolkata was premeditated

Dhaka, May 22 (UNI) Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said today that the murder of Awami League lawmaker Md Anwarul Azim Anar in Kolkata, India, was premeditated, and that "three people have been arrested in this connection”.
The Home Minister, however, refrained from sharing further information “for the sake of investigation," while talking to reporters at his Dhanmondi residence on Wednesday, hours after news broke that the Jhenaidah-4 MP had been found murdered in New Town, Kolkata, India.
"The information we have so far is that people of our country are involved in the killing," the minister is quoted as saying, Dhaka Tribune reported.
