Belarus, Russia holding Joint Command Drills in Minsk: Defence Ministry

Minsk, Jan 14 (UNI) The staff training of the Joint Command of the regional group of forces of Belarus and Russia is taking place in Minsk to increase the defence capability of the Union State, the republic's Defence Ministry said on Tuesday.
"In the interests of increasing the defence capability of the Union State, a joint staff training of the Joint Command of the regional group of forces is taking place in Minsk," the statement said.
From January 14-16 the representatives of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia will work out one of the options for using groups of troops in the course of joint actions at stationary control points, the ministry explained.
