Bengal: MLA accused of appointing women in ICDS Centres in lieu of money, omplaint filed Inbox

Kolkata, June 11 (UNI) The sitting Bardhaman Uttar MLA and Trinamool Congress leader Nishith Malik has been accused of illegally appointing seven women as cooks at least in seven ICDS centres in exchange for money.
A written complaint seeking investigation has been filed with the East Burdwan district administration and the state authorities as well by Chandan Chakraborty, a resident of Bolgona village under Burdwan-2 block.
In his complaint, Chandan alleged that during the 2022-2025 financial years, the MLA facilitated jobs for seven women from Kurmun-2 and Gobindapur gram panchayats at several ICDS centres in his Assembly segment. He claimed that the certificates submitted by these women were forged and their appointments had earlier been cancelled for the same reason.

Bihar govt announces to begin digital learning in schools by August 15
