Biden welcomes US-Brokered Israel, UAE, Bahrain peace deals

Washington, Sep 16 (Sputnik) Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has commended the US-brokered peace agreements between Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain signed at the White House on Tuesday.
"I welcome the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain taking steps to normalise ties with Israel. It is good to see others in the Middle East recognising Israel and even welcoming it as a partner. A Biden-Harris [Senator Kamala Harris, a vice presidential nominee] administration will build on these steps, challenge other nations to keep pace, and work to leverage these growing ties into progress toward a two-state solution and a more stable, peaceful region," Biden said in a statement.
On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump signed all documents together with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, UAE's Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Bahrain's counterpart, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayan.
