BJP accuses Cong media chief of ‘electoral fraud’

New Delhi, Sept 2 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today took a dig at leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for his ‘Vote fraud’ rant, as it accused his party’s media chief Pawan Khera of serious electoral irregularities involving possession of multiple voter identity cards.
At a press briefing here, BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari alleged that Khera holds two distinct EPIC (Electoral Photo Identity Card) numbers, which, according to him, constitutes a blatant violation of election regulations.
“We want to ask five questions to Rahul Gandhi,” Bhandari asserted. “Was he aware of the multiple EPIC IDs of Pawan Khera? Will he call Pawan Khera a vote chor? Will he admit that the Gandhi-Vadra family is against SIR to protect their vote fraud? They promote infiltration. How was Sonia Gandhi’s name in the electoral roll when, in 1980, she was not a citizen of India? Will he accept that Congress itself is involved in vote chori? Rahul Gandhi and other leaders involved in this vote fraud should apologise to the nation.”
