BJP appoints Nitin Nabin as National Working President

New Delhi, Dec 14 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today appointed five-time MLA and two-time Bihar cabinet minister Nitin Nabin as its new National Working President. He succeeds senior leader JP Nadda, who previously held the position. Nitin Nabin, a Kayastha by caste, is currently the party’s Prabhari (in-charge) for Chhattisgarh.
Nitin Nabin is among the youngest national office-bearers in the BJP, known for his blend of youth and substantial experience in governance, public service, and organisational work. He entered politics through student activism with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and built a strong foundation in the Patna BJP unit. He is the son of BJP leader late Nabin Kishore Sinha.
Nabin has served twice as a Minister in the Bihar Government and has been elected as an MLA five times. He previously held the position of Bihar Pradesh Yuva Morcha President, during which he organised extensive youth outreach programmes across the state.

Centre approves wage and pension revisions for PSGICs, NABARD, and RBI employees, pensioners

New Delhi, Jan 23 (UNI)In a significant move to bolster the financial well-being and social security of employees and pensioners in key financial institutions, the Government on Friday approved comprehensive wage and pension revisions for employees and retirees of Public Sector General Insurance Companies (PSGICs), the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

ED raids Birch Romeo Lane owners in Goa probe

New Delhi, Jan 23 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is currently conducting search operations at the residential and office premises of the Luthra brothers and Ajay Gupta, the owners of "Birch by Romeo Lane."
The raids are aimed at investigating the money-laundering angle linked to the illegal functioning of the club and the role of its promoters, following the unfortunate fire accident in Goa that claimed 25 lives on December 6.
