BJP central leaders review political situation in Manipur

Imphal, Nov 12 (UNI) BJP national general secretary (organisation) BL Santosh, accompanied by the party’s North East in-charge Dr Sambit Patra, arrived in Manipur Capital on Wednesday and went to Thambal Sanglen, the BJP’s Manipur headquarters, to review the prevailing political situation in the state.
The senior party leaders held an extensive closed-door meeting with state-level BJP functionaries, including MLAs, and office-bearers, to assess the party’s organisational strength and political developments in Manipur overseen by state BJP chief A Sharda, Santosh and Sambit Patra.
Discussions reportedly focused on coordination between the state government and the party, ongoing administrative challenges, and preparations for upcoming political events and elections. Sources said the visit is part of the BJP leadership’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its organisational base across the North East and to discuss formation of a popular government.
