Blind murder case solved in Baramulla, victim's wife among 2 held

Srinagar, Apr 22 (UNI) Police on Thursday claimed to have solved a blind murder case by arresting two accused, including the wife of the victim and her paramour, in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.

A senior police officer said that on intervening night of March 8 and March 9, 2021 one Mohammad Altaf Malik was found dead near his cowshed at Renji Pattan in Baramulla. ''On March 22 brother of the deceased submitted application for initiating inquest proceedings as he and his family members were suspicious regarding the death,'' he said.
