Body of unidentified elderly man found in Sirkoni forest

Hazaribagh, Nov 9 (UNI) Panic spread in the Sirkoni forest area under Chauparan block of Hazaribagh district on Sunday after locals discovered the body of an unidentified elderly man, estimated to be around 65 years old.
Villagers out for a morning walk noticed the body lying in the forest and immediately informed the Chauparan police.
Upon receiving the information, a police team led by Officer-in-Charge Saroj Singh Chaudhary reached the spot and took the body into custody for investigation. The police conducted inquiries in nearby villages to establish the man’s identity, but no leads were found till late evening.
