Bollywood stars gear up for the next box office battle, with a strong lineup from Sunny Deol to Kartik Aaryan

Mumbai, June 5 (UNI) Bollywood’s leading actors are preparing for an eventful few years, with an impressive slate of ambitious projects, franchise films and big-ticket entertainers already in the pipeline.
The race to dominate the Bollywood box office in the coming years has already begun. Engaged in numerous big-budget films, franchise installments, and ambitious projects, some of Hindi cinema's biggest stars appear to be busier than ever.
Significantly, stars like Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Kartik Aaryan have a long line of films lined up for the coming years, making them among Bollywood's busiest and most sought-after actors. It's believed that through mythological dramas, high-octane action, romance, comedy, and large-scale entertainers, these stars will not only determine the future of the box office but also further strengthen their stronghold in Hindi cinema.
Currently, Deol leads this list, enjoying the busiest and most successful phase of his career. After a strong box office comeback with "Gadar 2," the actor currently has around eight major films in the pipeline, including "Ramayan Part 1," "Ramayan Part 2," "Lahore 1947," "Jaat 2," "Baap," "Gabru," "Anthony," and an untitled project from director Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt. Interestingly, these films will see him play diverse characters, some involving action, while others will be part of larger cinematic universes and multi-starrer stories.
Kumar is the second name among these, who has once again become one of Bollywood's busiest stars. He currently has a six-film lineup, including "Welcome to the Jungle," "Hera Pheri 3," "Bhagam Bhag 2," "Golmaal 5," "Haiwaan," and "Samsuk." He has long been considered one of the industry's most prolific actors, and his upcoming slate of films further solidifies this reputation. The mix of comedy franchises and new concepts demonstrates his belief in experimentation with entertainment.
Devgn also appears to be betting big on franchise films. His upcoming projects include "Dhamaal 4," "Drishyam 3," "Ranger," "Golmaal 5," and "Shaitan 2." This mix of suspense, comedy, action, and supernatural genres demonstrates his strategic choice of projects, keeping his audience's preferences in mind.
Khan remains one of Bollywood's biggest and most bankable superstars. The actor currently has three major projects in the pipeline, including "Mathrubhumi" and a collaboration with director Vamshi Paidipally and the duo of Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. (Raj & DK). Each Salman film generates a unique level of excitement among audiences and trade circles, so expectations for this one are high.
Kapoor has also chosen films very carefully for his career. With films like "Ramayana Part 1," "Ramayana Part 2," director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Love and War," and the highly anticipated "Animal Park," Kapoor is firmly establishing himself as one of Bollywood's biggest contemporary stars.
However, after Kapoor, another name comes next: Aaryan, whose upcoming films reflect his ever-growing stardom. With "Naagzilla," "Captain India," a musical love story with director Anurag Basu, and a sports drama with director Kabir Khan, Aaryan currently has four major films lined up, establishing himself as one of Bollywood's biggest stars of the new generation.
His lineup, a mix of fantasy, romance, adventure, and commercial entertainment, demonstrates his continued pursuit of new dimensions to his film career. Currently, with his growing popularity among audiences, Aaryan's robust film calendar appears to be further strengthening his stardom. UNI NST CDS
