Bomb threat emails trigger panic, force evacuation at multiple schools in Jalandhar

Chandigarh, Dec 15 (UNI) Several schools in Jalandhar received bomb threat emails, prompting immediate evacuations and heightened security measures.
School authorities acted swiftly by suspending classes, switching off lights, and moving students out of classrooms as a precautionary step. Parents were promptly informed through phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and school apps, urging them to take their children home without delay.
As schools announced early dismissal around 11 am, instead of the usual afternoon hours, anxious parents rushed to campuses, with many leaving work mid-day to collect their children.
