Border Trade: Study group submits its final report to Arunachal Govt

Itanagar, Jan 13 (UNI) The Arunachal Pradesh Government-constituted expert study group entrusted with the task preparing a comprehensive detailed project report (DPR) for opening of trade routes through Pangsau Pass under Indo-Myanmar sector and through Dongsengmang via Darranga LCS under Indo-Bhutan sector has submitted its final report to the State authorities on Monday.
The ‘Pangsau Pass Trade Study Group 2022’ led by its director Prof Mahendra P Lama, made a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation before Trade & Commerce Minister Nyato Dukam, officials said.
This study will help to retrace and recollect the historical basis of trade, tourism, investment, energy corridor, culture, pilgrimage, health, education, and natural resources through the Pangsau route (with Myanmar) and Dongshengmang/Bletting route (with Bhutan), they said.
