BRO Chief Engineer briefs Mizoram Governor on infrastructure projects

Aizawl, Oct 10(UNI) Chief Engineer Girish Prasad Singh of Project Pushpak, under the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), called on Mizoram Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati on Tuesday to discuss the status of ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects in the state.
The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of road and bridge constructions, crucial for improving connectivity in remote and strategically significant areas of Mizoram.
Governor Kambhampati highlighted the critical role of road development, particularly in the state's border areas, and urged the BRO to ensure that all projects are completed within the stipulated timeline. Acknowledging the challenging topography and climatic conditions in Mizoram compared to mainland regions, he emphasised the need for meticulous planning and execution tailored to the state’s unique environment.
