BRS MLC Kasireddy resigns from party, set to join Cong

Hyderabad, Oct 1 (UNI) In a surprising turn of events, Kasireddy Narayan Reddy, a member of the Legislative Council representing the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), tendered his resignation from the party on Sunday, expressing his intention to join the Congress.

Narayan Reddy held a meeting with Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President N. Raventha Reddy, MP at his residence this morning, and subsequently released his formal resignation letter.

In his statement, Narayan Reddy cited his decision to join the Congress as a result of his faith in the party's six guarantees, which he believes will bring positive changes to the lives of the underprivileged. There is ongoing speculation that he may contest from the Kalwakurthy Constituency.

In a parallel development, Balaji Singh, the Vice Chairman of Nagarkurnool Zilla Parishad, also parted ways with the BRS, declaring his intention to align with the Congress.

Meanwhile, Medak District Congress President Tirupati Reddy has resigned from the party. UNI VV ARN SY
