Burkina Faso announces composition of new gov after reshuffle

Ouagadougou, Dec 9 (UNI) The composition of a new government in Burkina Faso has been announced after the dissolution of the previous one, and some ministers of the former government managed to retain their posts, according to a statement released by the government.
Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo, who previously occupied the post of communications minister, has become the country’s new prime minister, Brig. Gen. Celestin Simpore has been appointed defence minister, while Justice Minister Edasso Bayala, Security Minister Mahamadou Sana, Foreign Minister Karamoko Traore and Economy Minister Aboubakar Nacanabo remained in their positions.
On Friday, Burkinabe Caretaker President Ibrahim Traore decided to dissolve the country's government and dismiss Prime Minister Apollinaire Joachim Kyelem de Tambela.
