Mumbai, Jun 1 (UNI) Future Generali India Insurance (FGII) has announced the findings of its survey which stated that 94 per cent of the respondents conduct their own research before buying or renewing their health insurance policy as per their needs or life stages.
FGII also introduced its new health insurance plan -- D.I.Y Health Plan comprising of 17 features and 20 optional covers, which enables customers to design their personalised tailor-made policy in tune with their health insurance needs, a press release stated here on Thursday.
Commenting on the FGII #MyChoiceSurvey, Anup Rau, managing director and chief executive officer, Future Generali India Insurance Company Ltd, said, “The fact that over 90 per cent of respondents demand customisation as a critical policy feature and are willing to pay for it, offering a unique insight into this rapidly growing market space."
“With D.I.Y Health, customers will become architects of their own protection, building customised plans that suit their unique health needs," he added.
