CAB seeks enhanced security from Lalbazar for India-South Africa Test at Eden Gardens

Kolkata, Nov 11 (UNI) The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), which will host first Test match of the India versus South Africa series from Sunday onwards at the Eden Gardens in this city, has sought enhanced security from the Kolkata Police.
The city is already on high alert in view of Monday's blast in Delhi in which many people were killed and injured.
The security arrangements have been tightened in and around Eden Gardens and all important avenues in the city and all entry points after the Delhi blast. A special vigilance was also heightened after the CAB has requested enhanced policing for the India-South Africa Test match beginning on Sunday.
