Cancer prevention vaccination camp on Oct 19

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 17 (UNI) A cancer prevention vaccination camp will be held here on October 19, aiming to protect against the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), a leading cause of cervical cancer and several other cancers.
Boys and girls aged nine years and above can receive the anti-cancer vaccine at a subsidized rate during the camp. The initiative seeks to raise awareness about cancer prevention and promote early immunization against HPV among adolescents.
The camp, organized by the Indian Medical Association (IMA), will be conducted from 9 am to 2 pm at the IMA Hall, located opposite the General Hospital.
